「Side-gore Boots」– Well-worn Look
　
THE PERMANENTより、2色で展開しているSide-gore Boots。今回はその中でも、経年による表情の変化をより楽しめる「Vintage Black」にフォーカスしてご紹介します。未着用の状態ではマットで均一なブラックですが、履き込むことで少しずつ変化が現れます。表面に施された顔料が徐々に抜け、下地の色味がのぞくことで、ブラックの中にブラウンのニュアンスが混ざり合い、奥行きのある表情へと変化していきます。素材には、油分を豊富に含んだホースハイドを使用。繊維密度が高く耐久性に優れているため、多少の雨であれば気にせず履けるタフさも魅力の一つです。天候を選ばず日常的に履けるブーツだからこそ、紫外線や雨にさらされながらラフに履き込むことで自然な艶が生まれ、シワの入り方にも履き手それぞれの個性が表れていきます。約2年ほど着用した一足と未着用のものを並べると、その違いは一目瞭然。日常の中で履き込まれることで生まれたこの風合いは、同じものが二つとない、まさに唯一無二の表情です。未着用の状態が完成ではなく、使い込むことでより良くなっていくこと。それは、PHIGVELのものづくりにおいて大切にしている考え方の一つです。
　
The Side-gore Boots from THE PERMANENT are available in two colors. Here, we focus on “Vintage Black,” a pair that truly showcases the beauty of aging. In their unworn state, the boots appear matte and uniformly black. With wear, the surface pigment gradually fades, allowing the underlying tone to emerge. Subtle brown nuances blend into the black, creating depth and character. Made from oil-rich horsehide with high fiber density, the leather is durable enough to handle light rain, making them ideal for everyday wear. Over time, exposure to the elements brings out a natural sheen, and the creases that form reflect the individuality of the wearer. Placed side by side with an unworn pair, the difference after two years is unmistakable. For PHIGVEL, a product is not complete when new—it becomes better with wear.

「Hickok Belt」– Refined Function
　
1920〜30年代に見られたHickok beltを、PHIGVELのフィルターを通して再構築。簡素な見た目に反する機能美とエレガンスを両立した、THE PERMANENTを代表するプロダクトです。最大の特徴は、オリジナルバックルの構造にあります。通常のベルトにあるピンホールを排した“ホールレス”仕様で、バックルにベルトを差し込み挟み込んで留める、当時の簡素ながら理にかなった構造を採用しています。この構造により、脱着のスムーズさに加え、ウエストサイズに対して細かくフィットさせることが可能です。素材には、わずかにシボ感のある上質なカウハイド（牛革）を使用。手に取った瞬間に感じられる、しっとりとした質感と堅牢なつくりも魅力の一つです。オリジナルで製作しているバックルは、いずれも真鍮素材を使用したシルバーとゴールドの2色をご用意。レザーとの組み合わせにより、スタイルに奥行きをもたらします。さらに、PROD直営店舗ではバックル単体での購入も可能です。スタイリングや気分に合わせて付け替えをお楽しみください。カジュアルからドレスシーンまで幅広く対応し、季節やトレンドに左右されない普遍的なプロダクト。まさに、“長く使える道具”としての魅力を備えた一本です。
　
Reinterpreted through the PHIGVEL lens, the Hickok belt of the 1920s–30s is rebuilt with a focus on clarity and function. Its defining feature lies in the original buckle structure. Designed without traditional pin holes, the belt is secured by inserting and clamping the strap within the buckle—a rational and minimal mechanism rooted in the era. This construction allows for smooth adjustment and a precise fit. Crafted from high-quality cowhide with a subtle grain, the belt offers both suppleness and durability. Original brass buckles are available in silver and gold finishes, adding depth to the leather combination. Timeless and adaptable from casual to formal settings, it stands as a true tool made for long-term use.

「Athletic Sweat / Classic Denim Trousers」PROD exclusive item
　　
80年代、アウトドアウェアがまだ“機能”として完成しきっていなかった時代。色褪せたスウェットやパンツを身にまとい、決して万全とは言えない装備で自然に挑んでいく人々の姿。その記録や資料には、今の時代には見られない、無骨で自由な美しさを感じます。現代のアウトドアウェアは圧倒的に整備され、洗練されました。素晴らしい進化である一方、当時の“空気感”は、少しずつ姿を消してしまったようにも思えます。今回制作したスウェットシャツとスラックスは、そんな失われつつある空気感を、私たちなりの解釈で今の装いに落とし込んだプロダクトです。国内でも数少ない、手作業による自然な加工を得意とする加工場を通して仕上げたシリーズ。機械的な均一さではなく、時間と手の痕跡が残る、わずかなムラや奥行き。今回の加工において最も大切にしました。スウェットは、陽の当たらない袖裏にあえて色を残す設計。着用を重ねることで生まれる自然な色落ちを想定し、「最初から完成しすぎない」表情を目指しています。時間とともに、着る人の動きや癖が刻まれていく。その変化こそが、このスウェットの完成形です。全体にナチュラルなフェード加工を施したトラウザーズ。デニム本来の無骨さを残しながら、スラックスとしての品の良さを併せ持たせています。通年着用可能な12ozデニムと、無駄を削ぎ落としたシルエットにより、合わせるアイテムを選ばない汎用性の高さが魅力です。特別なスタイリングをせずとも、いつもの服装に合わせるだけで生まれる抜け感とカジュアルな空気感。主張しすぎず、それでいて確かに雰囲気を変えてくれる。そんな立ち位置を目指した加工シリーズ。写真では伝えきれない質感や色の奥行きは、ぜひ店頭で実際に手に取って感じてください。皆さまのご来店を心よりお待ちしております。
　
In the 1980s, outdoor wear was still unfinished as functional clothing. Faded sweatshirts and pants, imperfect gear, and people facing nature with freedom and courage. There was a rough and honest beauty in that time that feels rare today. Modern outdoor wear has become highly refined. While this evolution is impressive, the unique atmosphere of those days seems to have slowly disappeared. The sweatshirt and trousers in this collection reinterpret that lost feeling for modern wear. This series was finished at one of the few Japanese factories known for natural, hand-done processing. Instead of a uniform look, we valued subtle unevenness and depth that show the passage of time. The sweatshirt keeps color on the inside of the sleeves, allowing it to fade naturally with wear. Over time, the fabric changes with the wearer — that process completes the piece. The trousers feature a natural fade finish, combining the roughness of denim with the clean look of slacks. Made from 12oz denim for year-round wear, they are easy to style with many outfits. Without special styling, these pieces add a relaxed, casual mood to everyday clothing. Quiet, but with a clear presence. 「Aviator Zip Boots」
　　
古い資料を手がかりに、当時の雰囲気や用途を読み解きながら、現代のスタイルに馴染むバランスへと再解釈した Aviator Zip Boots。アッパーには、柔らかくきめ細かなボックスカーフレザーを採用。大味な経年変化ではなく、長く美しい状態を保てるのも、この革ならではの特徴です。グッドイヤーウェルト製法を採用し、履き込むほどに足へ馴染む構造を備えています。修理を重ねながら長く愛用できるだけでなく、アウトソールにはグリップ力に優れたラバーを採用し、安定感と耐久性も確保しました。クラシックなブーツがもつ重厚感を残しつつ、洗練されたドレスライクな表情に仕上げています。着用時には、フロントジップがわずかに覗くことで、控えめながら新鮮なアクセントを与えてくれます。私たちの靴づくりは、常に洋服との調和を重視しています。靴の主張が強くなりすぎないよう、ボトムスを合わせたときの見え方にこだわり、それぞれの型に合った最適なラストを設計。細かな部分の修正やフィッティングテストを繰り返し、時間をかけて製品へと仕上げることで、装い全体に自然と溶け込むシルエットを実現しています。2018年のリリース以来、多くの方に愛され続けている、PHIGVELを代表するプロダクトです。
　
Using old documents as clues, we reinterpreted the Aviator Zip Boots to match a modern style while keeping the atmosphere and purpose of the past. The upper is made from soft and fine box calf leather. This leather does not show rough aging and stays beautiful for a long time. The boots are made with a Goodyear welt construction, which becomes more comfortable as you wear them. They can be repaired and used for many years. The outsole is made of rubber, giving strong grip, stability, and durability. The boots keep the heavy classic look, but also have a clean and dress-like appearance. When worn, the front zipper shows slightly and adds a small but fresh accent. Our shoe-making always focuses on balance with clothing. We avoid making the shoes too strong in appearance. We design each last so that the shoes look good with many types of bottoms. By making small adjustments and repeating fitting tests, we create shoes that blend naturally into the whole outfit. Since their release in 2018, they have been loved by many people and are one of PHIGVEL’s signature products.

「Heavy Waffle Top」

This top uses a heavy waffle fabric, but it feels very soft when you wear it. It is a special material made for comfort. The waffle texture creates small bumps that hold warm air. At the same time, it lets extra moisture out, so you can stay comfortable even when the weather changes. It is also strong enough for everyday use. The neck is made with a durable binder finish, and the cuffs are thin so they don’t feel bulky when you layer it. The design is simple but very practical. Because it is so simple, you won’t get tired of it. Many people buy more colors or get a new one each season. You can use it for a long time, even until the end of February when winter is cold.
